I had a wonderful stay at Johannishof in Wernigerode. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short stroll to the town center while still being in a peaceful area. The breakfast spread was impressive, definitely one of the highlights. The room was spacious and extremely clean, making it feel like a cozy retreat. However, I wish there were more local attraction brochures provided at check-in to enhance the planning experience.

Staying at Johannishof was a delightful experience! The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the town center with its charming, medieval atmosphere and ample dining options. I was impressed with how clean and spacious the rooms were, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with plenty of vegetarian choices. On the downside, since I was only there for one night, I didn’t have enough time to explore Wernigerode's attractions fully. Overall, though, it's a great value for money with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
